Lets hope it not with a view to a full transfer in January?DA it's time to put the pen on the cheque, thats if Donal would come here.We all know he loved it here with us,but at the end of the day money talks,Scunny are in the Championship & will spend the cash on him if he makes an impact over there, providing City want to sell him.

After his performance at Glandford Park earlier in the season, I'm not surprised in the
slightest.

"McDermott is still rated as a possible long-term first-teamer at City and Hughes is keen for him to step up to the Championship to continue his education"
He was never going to come here, we should be grateful Man City decided to let him come for the time we had him. We can also be encouraged in the knowledge that Mark Hughes must think very highly of our club and in the future we may get a few more youngsters to educate.

And, despite him obviously loving it here, if they offered him a contract let's face it, that's where he will probably choose & who could blame him?

He can do better than Scunny and besides, if it came down to money, I'd fancy us offering him a better deal, they're not renowned for paying big wages.

But it doesn't come down to money Mike. Mark Hughes wants him to work and learn in the Championship, he wants to keep hold of our Donal, he seems to be in his long term plans for City.

I didn't realise there was a problem with how we looked after MacDonald?
