That's why we're still leaking goals every game.

The Centre Halves aren't the only ones who defend...

Midfield and Strikers defend as well. As well as possible goalkeeping errors. There's a lot more to look at than Centre Halves for conceding goals.

The centre backs are still making the same mistakes as we've seen for the past two years.

Not concentrating, not winning headers, (Page) being completely unreliable, not clearing things.

Page and Breckin are at the end of their careers and their form is only going to head in one direction.

Correct. Last season the midfield defended alot deeper and wer'nt able to assist in attack and we were reliant on the speed of Ward and Lowry with the guile of Jack which worked to a certain extent.
This season however the midfield have stepped up 10yrs and Small, McDermott and Talbot give us that extra attacking dimention from the middle of the park at the cost of their defensive duties so we are much more of an offensive threat. So basically we leak the goals which will be rectified by the manager in due course.

And we've scored the grand total of five goals away from home.

Thats not Breckin's or Page's fault...... The shots at goal ratio seem to outwiegh the opposition's tally week after week and are certainly more than last season. I don't know the reason for the lack of acuracy. But I would'nt go back to the comparatively negative football under Rico.

For me Rob Page has put his Head, Body & Legs on the line countless times and its down to Breck's to sweep up the bits.
I would go as far as to say that Page has been 'player of the season' so far and I'm not a great fan of his.

i`d agree upto yesterday, then he lost it, having got into a personnal battle with there forward, and started going in far too hard, resulting in a penalty, giving away on a player a foot smaller than himself , from behind leading with the elbow, tbh i wanted him sent off, he had become a bluudy liabilty by then.
he of all people should be able to control his temper better with the experience he`s got!!
all we are saying, is give us ...a goal, or 2+

I was'nt there yesdi so I can't really coment. But I feel he is more than worthy of his place in the team on what I've witnessed to date.
