Its no good coming on here with it. As long as i can remember thats been sung on the kop, along with other "vulgar" chants. Its a male orientated atmosphere for christ sake, its bound to happen. Its a bit of banter. You won't get any sympathy from the tartan blanket and flask of tea brigade who mainly reside on these boards. Your mate should appeal. Has he had any section 60s?

I see they are banned from going into the town centre or (specifically) near Saltergate on match days. Will they be able to shop at Tesco on a Saturday afternoon, in a year's time - ie, will the ban automatically extend to the vicinity of the new place?

Just wondered as you found it appropriate to name my son as one that has been banned. Yes he did get caught up in the trouble at Chester and yes he sincerely regrets his actions ( though he didn't hit anyone) but i don't think it serves any purpose plastering name on this board. Numbers would have done the trick.

I'm no fan of football policing but I fail to believe someone's been banned for singing.

Especially since the name of Cheryl Cole is conspicuous by its absence...

Very unfair to name people on here.....you never know who's on here...! Although all FANS with banning orders are KNOWN to OUR Police Intelligence unit.

If he was singing What was he charged with..? Hardly Threatening words & Behaviour surely, not all football crimes carry a banning order although Debyshire Police try for banning orders on every football related offence.

they didnt plead guilty to affray half did the other half didnt it still got them a ban and my m8 got done been surporting chesterfield for 16 year now been to every home and 80% away games and in the last 6 mounths and 4 games later gets a ban what crap the police ask for court if they can give a ban

Of those convicted last year most admitted affray while the rest other pulic order offences; I thought none went to trial.

Are you now talking of further bans from the same match or as a result of another game? What offences were these fans convicted of before the bans and at which court?

So is it you then? I see your point in some respects. I dont mind people singing silly songs and 'being a twat', its just part of football and thats it. As for the others, good, ban them for as long as nececery. Fighing is just silly. In your case the police are wrong to ban you for such an offence but i doubt that was all there was to it. If im mistaken, im sorry.

I think the only brains evident in this video are the pigeons flying by at 1:10. Anyone who got a banning order on this evidence - good - we don't need you or want you associated with Chesterfield FC.

Was he arrested at Chester if so on what grounds ?
why a banning order by Chesterfield Police ??

The case will be brought by showing several incidents, lets face it the majority of incidents happen away from Saltergate. The Police will just use some insignificant action at home to justify putting you before the local courts. Just imagine having to go to court in Torquay or Gillingham to receive just the same sentence. Any banning order where ever issued I think applies nationally and in most cases Internationally.
God I hate this league.

It's a pity people can use alias names on here - sure some of the posts wouldn't be added if real names were used..?

What was your friend charged with..? Did they use various footage gathered over months/years to get a conviction..?
