I feel that we could be in with a very good shout for automatic promotion if we can get a decent big man up front, at the moment we are much too short and lightweught.

Not suprised we've no money, the wages weve spent on the likes of
Breckin, Page, Small, Allott, Lester, Talbot, Austin, Currie, Harsley must dwarf all but Notts County in this league.
That squad SHOULD be good enough and it's certainly big enough, we could play a totally different 11 at Burton.

Probably a lot to do with the quota rule, it's seems a little late now for outgoings to allow a signing. Maybe the loan market will give us that flexibility later on.
On the bright side Bowery may get a chance.

Strange after the number of times he's said he's looking to bring players in. Has he caught the Rico bug of talking rubbish or is he just saying things the fans want to hear? If he is then he's made a damn good start. I 'fink' he talks the talk but doesn't walk the walk. Why didn't he just say from the start that he isn't looking to bring players in? Disappointing

He said he was looking for a couple of new players but one or two would be going out. He's signed one and shipped none out so he's actually been quite consistent.
The squad is big in term of numbers. Why don't you give him the benefit of the doubt that he has failed to get rid of some of Rico's signings? It isn't his fault nobody is stupid enough to take them.

no idea but if he was out of contract we could still sign him as the transfer window does not apply to free agents. There are lots of players out there who haven't managed to get fixed up today, perhaps they will drop their wage demands now that they are unemployed. I bet Mark Hudson is regretting not accepting Rotherham's offer now
Has anyone heard whether any other ex town players have got fixed up? I see Ben Algar has signed for Matlock, has Janie Winter signed for anyone?
