Just seen on news that Notts County are weeks away from securing a "multi million pound investment from an Middle Eastern consortium".

Possibly the reason behind their recent signings????

Anyway, should make for an interesting season!

One problem with that - the biggest shareholder - their supporters' trust - has not agreed to the sale. If I remember correctly they have not been seeing eye to eye with the board lately. The report says the potential new investor wants 100% ownership. I don't think this is by any means a foregone conclusion.

Does'nt sound that good for them. You need transparency at this level or it's very possible that if things arn't going well assets can be dispossed of quite easily. The windows seem to be being whitewashed at the county ground!
