Absolutely correct 'Lyall'. You also have the right to compliment the chairman as and when you want - if it is deserved - without apology. I suspect 'dazcarrlegend' was thinking of those posters who regulalrly exercise only the first of those two rights.

No apology from me as i never abused barrie, simply criticised the decisions i felt were not in the best interest of the club. It was my opinion that not advertising the job to other candidates to allow Lee to take over was a mistake and i feel largely justified in that criticism.
I would like to praise barrie for getting the investment finalised and rather than dwell on past mistakes, really look forward to a very promising season ahead.
Come on you blues!

Indeed.
Some posters posted abuse, not simply criticisms of decisions.

Tell you what: when Bazza apologises for all the deadlines that came and went, not to mention the various excuses that were trotted out when all the time it was because Dave Allen couldn't extracate himself from Hillsborough, i'll apologise for suggesting this was the case.
When Bazza also apologises for unilaterally appointing Lee Richardson, the subsequent relegation, and the two wasted seasons his protege inflicted on us, then i'll apologise for stating that he was the wrong man from day one.
And when Bazza apologises for the hundreds of thousands, perhaps even millions of pounds that decision has cost the Club, i'll apologise for not holding him up as the Saint others seem to think he is.
Fair enough?

For appointing Rico and rewarding failure, for decimating the gate, for leaving us in the lowest league position for years, for all the deceit over the years, for excuses after excuses, for deadline after deadline being spouted and missed, for looking down upon his customers, for spitting the dummy out and threatening to close the club and for what he said at Stoke. Me apologise NEVER NEVER I just look forward to the day when we are rid of him, now that will be a day to celebrate

The sanctimonious self righteous ones who say one thing on here and an entirely different one away from the board you know the ones who follow what trend is in fashion just like little sheep, they know who they are. I will never apologise for the simple reason I have nothing to apologise for and you can tell him that as well Pete
