If anyone hasn't worked it out, we can still win on Saturday and be out of the running for 7th if Shrewsbury and Dagenham both win.

Even though we'll be 2 points behind, they play each other on the last day and therefore one team will pick up at least one point but with a far superior goal difference.

We are relying on Notts County and Lincoln. So, as I said earlier, season over.

Rochdale might choke yet, away to luton home to gillingham lose em both and we win both should go above them on goal diff then all depends on dagenham and shrewsbury not drawing

I'm getting Deja Vu here, wasnt it last season when we were hoping for Rochdale to mess up and try to gloss over Richardson's management failings?
Guess I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!

The Daggers win is one of the final nails in our inevitable coffin. If there's any consolation, I'd rather them make the play-offs than Shrewsbury.

You have to admire what Still has done.

A budget thats a fraction of ours, gates less than half, and players signed from as low in the league pyramid as the Essex county div 2, like Paul Benson from white ensign.

Could we tempt him up to North East Derbyshire? Great lower league manager - people had them to finish in the bottom 2 this season.

Not sure, been in and London all his life. We could do much worse.

Andy Hessenthaler would be a good shout. Kept the gills in the CCC for a year, and has had 2 run away championship wins with Dover. Knows the lower leagues etc.
