You need to do your sums again!

If Daggers or Shrews win on Saturday against Notts and Lincoln, then whatever we do won't be enough! Even if we win!

For us to still be in with an outside chance on the final day of the season then Daggers & Shrews both HAVE to fail to win on Saturday! Can't see both of them not winning when you consider the teams they play can you?

I fully expect Daggers to beat Notts County, i also think they will probably beat Shrewsbury - if that happens we could get a play off place even if Shrews win at home to lincoln - providing we win our 2 games and Rochdale lose at Luton and home to Gills. This would only be possible if either we win by more than one or they lose by more than one goal as they have scored more goals than us in total!

If both shrews & daggers win on saturday and draw their final game we lose out due to an inferior goal difference, infact we could be one of 4 teams on 69 points.

If Shrews win both their games and D&R win on saturday then it's between us and rochdale again - providing they lose both games.

Lets face it, add Darlo's and Rotherham's points on and we are comfortably mid-table stuff

If bradford win their last two it'll be a miracle, well almost, their train got completely derailed when McCall signed his new contract, since then they've won two games, drawn 3 and lost 8. Their two wins came at home to Macca, and Aldershot, the latter of which they won 5-0.

By the end of saturdays games, next weeks fixtures will be immaterial I fear. Can you honestly say we will pick up 3 points at Stanley. I know they have loaned a forward to Bradistan but they are very difficult to beat at home. If they play to form it will be an even first half followed by an allout onslaught on us in the second.
God I hate this league.

I really hope that we'll be better for the full week since our last game, but that also depends on what team is put out and how things develop second half, especially if we need to be a little more attacking.

Since March has finished they've lost 2-0 at home to lincoln and 1-0 at home to Chester, infact to sound slightly like i did before we went to Macclesfield, Accrington have only scored one goal in their last 5 games, so possiblity of a clean sheet, just hope Jack is on form so we win.

Don't discount Rochdale.

They are on a poor run and if they lose their last 2 games and we win ours, we WILL be above them.

They have Luton away this saturday then Gillingham at Home.

The Gills are playing well and pushing for automatic promotion and Hopefully Luton will be playing without pressure and might turn them over, certainly a difficult place to go.

Rochdale are very fortunate to have as many points as they have already as they have been lost twice as many games they've won over the last couple of months. They are one of the few teams who are worse than us at keeping clean sheets.

Us beating Accrington is the most likely part of this fairy tale that's going to see us in the plyoffs

thats dependent on dagenham or Shrewsbury having to drop at least 4 points and if it comes to them both being on 69 with us we have to better there goal difference so at least a minimum 9 goals for us to score if its the shrews or 15 if its Dagenham (on the basis they win 1 game 1-0 and draw 0-0).

Im a realsest and can see that once again Rico with his competitive budget has got us within sniffing distance but not close enough.

at the end of the day no way should our team be relying on others to slip up just to be in with a chance of making the play offs, it is all just too wrong

Is this not football though?

Liverpool are relying on Man Utd slipping up, Newcastle are relying on other teams slipping up to avoid relegation.

Unless you win every game, your fate is potentially in others hands.
