£25% of any profit, ie, anything over what we paid them.

Not what ol' Bazza said in his pre-crimbo interview.

As azul said, when asked if we'd accept a £260k offer for Jamie, he said 'no way, because Torquay would get £65k - and therefore 25%.

Where can I find that? Surely our shrewd, in-the-know chairman knows the financial state of things?

what if he does sign for Barnsley, and we get the £300k (£100k to the Gulls) and we havee a 25% sell on,

If he then goes for £1m, we get £250k, surely we would have to give 25% of that to torquay??

Another confusing aspect of a sell-on clause.

Apparently we did give Leeds money, but I have read in places that that doesn't happen, also, otherwise clubs would be getting money 10 transfers down the line. Is there a cut off point?!

Bet the sell-on clause involves a pre-season friendly against Barnsley.
