It just wouldn't make any sense, yet I'm astounded that the Ward article on the homepage says "Meanwhile, a number of new recruits are being sought to strengthen the squad in key areas." Why?
It's rare that fans are daunted by the prospect of new signings, but that's how desperate things are.
Please Barrie, you've lost a lot of fans in the last 6 months, don't embarrasse the situation further.

Barrie has to choices
1. give Rico backing and money to spend
2. sack Rico
no way you can keep Rico and witheld funds to improve the squad, puts the whole club in limbo basically saying you are a rubbish manager but you can keep your job for a bit!
obviously we all know he should pick option 2!

Now Wardy has gone this year is looking even bleaker for us than it was. Imo in this p poor league with any kind of decent manager + 4 players we could have got promotion easily.
But no. Hubbard sticks with Coco, we'll probably get 2 average 35 year old has beens and we have to stick it out for yet another year in the bottom division.
I really cant belive what a joke this club has become.

Hubbards been sending out signals this season that he cant sack Rico as it's not down to him at the moment, so to actually waste money by giving it to Rico to spend would seem odd.
If Rico does actually splash the cash it would imply Hubbards been leading us all down the garden path.
I probably think the more realistic situation is if Rico's aloud to bring a few "Loanees" in thus not really wasting any of the Ward cash.
But who knows, i just get the feeling Hubbard is digging himself into a hole....who do we believe any more?

With you all the way.
I don't want to see Rico splash the cash. More to the point, he shouldn't be allowed to bring in some no hoper either, just for the sake of a signing and to silence the fans for 5 minutes.
NO SIGNINGS AT ALL.
Cash aside, today's sale has done BH no favours.

I wouldn`t give him a bag of washers to play with.
He cant sign players we seem to need, and those he does sign he cant get the best out of, or even stay on friendly terms with.
This season has been a disaster for LR. (CFC and `ma` too)
I hold my hands up, and say I was 100% wrong when I thought LR might hae been the hungry young coach to take us forward.

Where are thes signals he's been sending out? I ain't heard any
Nothing new here he's been leading us down the garden path for years but people are starting at last to realise this
He already has dug himself into a hole and I will tell you he couldn't care less. But there might be a good fund raising idea £1 a shovel full to fill the hole he's in, I'd have a tenners worth at least.
Who do we believe? Not the Hubbard thats for sure

It certainly seems to me that Hubbards been passing the buck on sacking Rico.

Have to be honest here. I'd rather the club bank the cash and we see only a loanee replacement whilst Rico is here. It is also the truth that we've only had 2 recognised strikers at the club this season...now one has gone we've got 1, a youth team player and boden who isn't a striker more a forward (link up play etc)
Just don't give him the money, Barrie.
