When you consider the backing that he since given LR, it really does put what Roy Mac could hae achieed into perspective

Just shows you what an imbicile Hubbard really is doesn't it? Backs cl o wn and abandons Roy Mac. Laughable

Dead right. Not that he'd entertain it for a minute, but I'd have RM back in a shot. Premiership class compared to the present cucumber, sorry incumbent..
"and a pair of those Geoff Mitchell glasses, please."

Good, more in our kitty then. As I say, I was only going on a number of sources - can't claim to have been told owt official.

I think the general response is a positive one to the £400k figure. Considering the situation.

Add Campbell- Rice and Clingan to what might have been if Roy Mac had been backed. You have to say the players he brought in were unbelievable looking back.

I'd take 400 plus Oje.( I think he would score goals in this poor league, and should give Jack more space).
As for replacing Wardy, unless we can get someone on loan, I'd bank the money and get rid of Ricco / Sellars pretty sharp
Just imagine the atmosphere this saturday if wardy goes and we don't get a decent replacement, it would be not on Ricco out chants but sack the Board as well that will be ringing round the ground.
If he does go I wish Wardy all the best., no matter what some fans suggest on here, Wardy is still giving us the fans 100% effort, its the poor tactics and service to him which has been poor over the past few weeks.

To heck with that, it's the 5th of Jan, plenty more mileage yet! We've got to put the squeeze on Torquay yet!

'
PS - Some of Rico's signings also fall into the 'unbelievable' category.

Thing is, if RM had recieved the same backing that LR had, considering the divisions, we could have had them

I wouldn't spend it just yet.

If you listen to Hubbard's pre-xmas interview he said he wouldn't sell Ward for £250K as Torquay would get £65K.

Thats 25% of the full transfer.

Are you suggesting our chairman is a clueless bumbling buffon
