i never said that he has fallen out with rico it is just a suggestion. but when you play 4 centre halfs against lincoln surley picken could at least make the bench if not start as he is better than austin everyday of the week.

Not when you've already got 2 other players on the field he could do a job at RB if injuries occurr.
Picken is out of form, big style and playing some of the teams we have been, height has been a benefit due to direct tactics.
Picken wouldn't have had a chance against N'Guessan

Having looked through the goals we've conceded so far this season it's clear to me that Picks errors have been directly responsible for 3 of the goals we've conceded, and most of us would probably say that often he doesn't look the player that we thought he was going to be when he first signed for us. I think maybe it's about time for Phil to move on and us to replace him with someone better, pehaps Dan Gray can make the position his own, or maybe picks will be back soon once he's had some time out to reflect on his performances and how he can improve on them. He isn't that bad but sometimes his size lets him down as his overall ability isn't that amazing and that's one reason why rico prefers a taller player at right back.

Another player who looked capable of biggish things but often failed to live up to the expectations. Where is he now, is he still at halifax?
