Shouldn't make any difference mate. One win in 7 or however the record now stands does not eradicate last season's poor performance or our poor start to this season.
Nevertheless, its only fair to say well done the lads who obviously put on a decent performance and well done Rico for managing the winning team.

They haven't lost at home though yet, hence why they are so far up the table.
Last night's victory should give the team some cinfidence which we have clearly been lacking, but rico still needs to work hard with the defence as a better side would have scored more last night.
There's no way a manager should be sacked after winning 5-1, it may be the result our players need and could help turn things around, i still believe we have the quality we need to get promotion with question marks on a couple of players like Carson, but all we can do is actually enjoy winning a game like fans are supposed to do and see what happens on saturday when we play a side that get better results away from home.

Don't forget that even Rushbury managed a four nil victory over Wycombe whilst the bigger picture was that of someone totally out of his depth.
Richardson has had the time, had the money, signed the players, yet his record overall is ordinary at best.
Time for a change, but if our alleged limbo persists.....

Fair point, but the one question i'd like answering is why we have to wait for Mr X to be revealed before changing the manager?
If he's as serious as is suggested, then surely it's a simple case of sitting down with him and doing what's best for the club he's supposed to be taking over.

I suppose he will want a say in who takes over....

If i was in BH's position, despite most fans being against rico staying i'd leave it until after saturday now, a win against whoever might be just what our current set of players need. After all the team has been low on confidence lately.

If you were to become a serious investor I'm sure you'd want a say in who was going to run the team. Then again you can't have a say until you commit. I think the board are playing along this "investor" until it becomes reality, but to the present detrement of thre club in a team performance and support sense.

I think the investor who ever it is,is real, just think about it Hubbard sounds as though he knows who it is and don't forget you can buy a brick for the stadium and join the founder members club if you so wish, without a investor i don't think either of those two things would be possible.....

Spot on D.
If LR was to turn things around then I would be delighted for him, but let's not get carried away is was only one win and history has so far proved LR's Chesterfield is incapable of going on a prolonged unbeaten run.

I am hoping Hubbard was correct when he referred to a group of people with a lot more money taking over the club.
It would be great if a number of people with money were working together to push the club forward on and off the field of play, and not just the club being owned by a single investor (presumably Dave Allen)

Do you think so?
Look at opther clubs with shared ownership:
Liverpool
Shef Wed
If all investors are pulling in the same direction then its ok but if not, the club can be the pawn in a very valuable game of chess!
