Not judging his overall ability or the contrbution he might make but I think it's fair to say given his height he isn't going to be the most prolific header of a ball we have had

strange because i may be mistaken but i thought i read that richardson said he had a great leap on him

I find some of the comments on here a bit strange, because my recollection is that he won nearly every ball played to him both on the floor and in the air, AND he held on o it and used the ball well. If you anticipate and get yourself in a good position as the ball is played to you, you don't always have to get that far off the ground to win it, and that's what he did in that game - I can remember him flicking at least 2 or 3 good balls on to team - mates. True, nobody is going overboard on one sub appearance, but I've got a quietly confident feeling about the bloke's ability at this level, and I want to see him given a start today.
