Bouma, Petrov, Reo-Coker, Agbonlahor, Carew, Knight, Young and most likely Sidwell are all first choice players.

2nd half it was all Lincoln, they tore Villa to shreds. Villa were appallingly bad despite still fielding a strong lineup. Janos had a great 2nd half, scoring with a header from 10yards from a corner, he made the 2nd too with another header from a corner and played reaaly well defensively putting himself about as we all know and love. The Lincoln fans took to him well.
As far as our rivals(?) are concerned, Lincoln were poor 1st half, but excellent 2nd, no doubt a boot up the backside from Jacko. I'd say they could be top 5 material....

Villa have a European Game in a few days don't they? And lincoln were welcoming Wacko Jacko back after his surgery and treatment for throat cancer.
I wouldn't read too much in to the result either way.

Too true, SS. Mansfield beat a top side in a pre season friendly every year and we know what happens after that

When 'smaller' teams play 'bigger' teams in friendlies, the bigger teams treat it generally as a training session and aim to avoid injury. The smaller teams use it to prove themselves against better players and there is usually a player or two on trial trying to impress to win a contract.

Presumably then if we beat Hull or Wednesday it means nothing, however if we lose it was to a team who were having a training session?

more or less.
We've beat some decent teams recently in pre season games but doesn't mean jack come August 9th.
