Will we have our new number 1 in place before the game at Gainsborough,what you think a trialist or a confirmed signing the rumour mill is saying it could be a confirmed new number 1 let's hope so for the make up of the side.

Heard we have Blackburn reserve Goalie on trial.......I'll look for his name next

I know this may well be a long shot & would not be a cheap option,but Tony Warner is looking for a club been released by Fulham i think.I heard somewhere he was talking to Hull City,he is a very experiened keeper & would be an excellent signing for the club.If he went to Hull he would be a bench warmer this season,if we made an attempt for him he would be the number one choice here,although wages would be an issue the temptation of first team football my be tempting for him.
I think he is 33 don't quote me,just a possible name,in a long list of keepers but i think he could do us a job.

Fielding is his name and he played a blinder against us last season while on loan at Wycombe.

Made an excellent one handed save low down to his left after Ward had walked through their defence.

Score was 0-0 at that point too

I understand the move is subject to Friedel staying or joinging Villa and if so Ince signing Carson as a replacement.
