We hate the **nt's who play in blue
But Mansfield Town, we love you
We follow Staaaaags...
Near and faaar...
WE ALL LIVE IN A YELLA' SUBMARINE
A YELLA' SUBMARINE
A YELLA' SUBMARINE

One man's idiotic movements towards my football club will never make me hang my head in shame around the likes of you when I say I'm a Mansfield Town fan. I'll be on the terraces in the BSP singing 'Mansfied til' I die' and at come April singing Bring on the Spireites

Alfreton maybe more like
There's only one Trevor Hebberd!

How about a few word changes on Duffy's 'Mercy'

This could be Stoney singing on his own next year

I love you
but I gotta stay true
my morals got me on my knees
Im begging please stop playing games

I dont know what this is
cos you got me good
just like Haslam knew he would

I dont know what to do
As Haslam does it well
I’m under his spell

Chorus
You got me begging you for mercy
why wont you relase me
you got me begging you for mercy
why wont you release me
I said release me

Now Spireites think that we
in the conference are on the slide
but you got to understand
that we haven't got a hope
of avoiding the northern premier

I dont know what to do
As Haslam does it well
I’m under his spell

Chorus
You got me begging you for mercy
why wont you release me
you got me begging you for mercy
why wont you release me
I said release me

I dont know what this is
but Haslam's got me good
just like he knew he would

I dont know what to do
As Haslam does it well
I’m under his spell

You got me begging you for mercy
why wont you relase me
you got me begging you for mercy
why wont you release me
I said you’d better release yeah yeah yeah

Im begging you for mercy
yes why wont you realse me
Im begging you for mercy

you got me begging
you got me begging
you got me begging

Mercy, why wont you realise me
Im begging you for mercy
why wont you release me

you got me begging you for mercy
Im begging you for mercy
Im begging you for mercy
Im begging you for mercy
Im begging you for mercy

Why wont you release me yeah yeah
$h!t were going down

 Not really, just heard it on the radio on the way home from work and saw the topic later on here; googled the lyrics and a cut and paste job, altered a couple of lines and hey presto

Now the ones with to much time on their hands are the ones that have really worked at the lyrics, and very good some of them are too!

I was wondering what those poor lost souls on the dark side of the M1 might sing as new songs in the BSP especially as they are infiltrated by ex spireites throughout the club!

How about this for a start

"Spireites here, spireites there, spireites every Flippin where nah nah nah"

:) Sorry just boooooored!

As we have signed Currie, maybe they will want to emulate us......

Vindaloo.......... vindaloo........... vindaloo vindaloo nah nah
A new hope.

Well I did have two children by her and I couldn't run the risk of any of them turning out to be one of you lot

It work too, as the youngest (girl) hates football and the other is already a ardent Spireite and first time season ticket holder, got himself a paper round to pay for it! (Lad age 13)
That's my boy :D
