Caught the back end of what has now become some sort of perverse "classic" today (i guess that's simply due to the appearances of iconic figures such as Pele, Bobby Moore, Ossie Ardilles and...John Wark) and was forced to wonder: did Geoff Mitchell model himself on the totally objective German commentator?
