you have to differentiate between match fitness and the fitness associated with the risk of his major injury reoccuring. I can quite understand that no one will ever again offer him a long contract or lay out a transfer fee. That doesn't mean to say he can't put in a good 90 minutes, which he always has.

is injury was the main concern to the fact he couldnt get his fitness level up because of it , the thing i was trying to say was that we wouldnt have got the money being talked about anyway .

thats ok im not fussed i just know the lad who took his test , he took his test at the same time as a lad from coventry who i believe brighton took on and kicked levens move into touch at the first stage , maybe just maybe we didnt offer him a 2 yr contract due to the same reasons same as mk dons but a bigger wage at mk made his decision , and if it is that way and looks like his football will soon be finished i for 1 dont begrudge him that chance of earning more money in a short time looking towards his future without football.

1866 is saying that Leven failed a fitness test at Brighton recently, not when the 100k bid was put in. So the club did purely reject the bid. It was nothing to do with fitness tests as he never went for one at the time.

It does get me wondering though if Richardson and the club would have known the outcome if he had gone for one 6 months ago and us as fans had found out he wanted to go to brighton can you imagine what he would have gone through and subjected to for the rest of the season

dont want a confrontation on this as post 125 doesnt contradict anything i have said - he took a test last month at the same time as a lad from coventry who they took on cant remember the lads name now as personally i couldnt give a tom XXX who they are signing just wanted to show people another angle that i know of as been as accurate as in "thats the reason he didnt go to brighton"
