What you said was wrong. I agree with you about other comments on here - particularly those questioning the integrity of Steve Fletcher. It's not an easy thing to say sorry but it's sometimes it's the right thing.

I think you need to chill out a touch. Leven said he was going to do this at the start of the season. What is wrong with that?

How does Leven differ from Mark Williams or Shane Nicholson?

Levens a midfielder,Nicholson and Williams are defenders i thought you would have known that....

They are much better pros than Leven will ever be.

Besides Chris if you love Leven that much why don't you follow him.

I was trying to compare Leven to two other players that snubbed contracts at Saltergate in favour of a financially beneficial move after, arguably, resurrecting their careers in our colours. And it's not as if they were as up-front as Leven was from day one, either.

But then i guess your reply speaks volumes.

Maybe i asked too much of you, SB.

Can't see the problem, Leven said he would only stop a year unless we got promoted which is what he did. IMHO I didn't rate him very high as a player, too slow and in and out of games to often, there must be better options available out there. Over to you Rico

I was being sarcastic simply because it was a strang question, why didn't you say what you meant in the first place.

No comparison whatsoever, they were both here longer and didn't give i'm going if we don't go up kind of attitude,we will be better off without him.

From memory, Williams prevaricated for several weeks, offering a number of possible preconditions for his signing, only to eventually opt for a move to then recently promoted Watford that in no way benefited Town.

Was he "scum"?

Again from memory, Nicholson turned down a money-move to Edgley Park mid-season only to go there when his contract expired in the Summer and, allegedly, pocket the transfer fee as a signing-on fee.

Was he "scum"?

By the way, sorry to be so cryptic in my posts.

I'll dumb-down in future, just for your benefit.

Have a look at the seasons goals, Leven scored some belters.

Just my opinion, but i quite liked Leven, and thought he was a usefull player.

5 from 44 starts is'nt prolific in my book and especially when Mark Hudson scored 4 from 34 in his last season and the stick he got in that season and beyond. I see simularities in both cfc careers.
He did'nt make a difference in the middle when he was required to take the team to a different level. As I have said in a previous thread he will not be missed.
The only loss will be the transfer fee that was on offer last season. Which in hindsight was a mistake.

I can only comment on the missed drugs test and he paid the penalty for that.

Maybe if Ducky can provide me with any proof to the other allegations then i might respond,i notice he missed out Rio's many charity feats, blinded by bl@@dy jealousy or what hey Ducky :D

Proof!! You would have to have lived on the moon for the last ten years not to know he missed a drugs test and filmed a gang bang on holiday. As for the parking there was a regular column in the Manchester Evening News about it, it was called Rio Watch.

What am I jealous about exactly, I am quite happy with my lot thank you very much.

Charity Work ? Don't you mean community service in Rio's case.

Can i just add something on this story.
How would we as fans have felt if Leven had said that he wanted to go to Brighton gone down there and failed his fitness test and then came back to us !! how would we have treated him and slammed him in songs at games and probably destroyed him altogether, it may worth be looking at the fact that we wouldnt have got the money anyway as he would have failed the fitness test as he did 6 months later and that is from a very good source (as in as good as the coach who told him he was not fit enough) and who as also said since that he doesnt know who does the mk franchise fitness programme but it needs a good look at it to have taken him on even on a free, so make into that what you would but maybe just maybe we wouldnt have got the money anyway and maybe Richardson does have a clue about his players, I know this doesnt say much for our fitness programme either.
