That run from Walcott deserved to win any match...but from there it just became typical Liverpool fantasy.

I honestly think that Wenger has taken Arsenal FC as far has he can take them.

Surely its time he moved into a "upstairs roll" within the club

Well the scores states that, however arsenal should have won easily over two legs, clear penalty first leg, bendtner clearing off the line, adabeyour (spelling) missing a sitter earlier on, sometimes i feel liverpool get the run of luck...and why do the comentators love liverpool, notice how excited they were when liverpool wnet 1-0 up and 2-1 up compared to arsenal's equaliser...

The best team over two legs didn't win, thats why Gerrard couldn't answer that question just on tv.

Thats why we loves this game so much though....The best team doesnt always win. The team that takes its chances does. See this seasons FA cup for evidence.

I admire Wenger as I see him as the catalyst for making top footballers train and look after themselves in a more professional manner.. to an extent, he has single handedly revolutionised the English game..
Where he lets himself down is with those bloody rose tinted specs..always! I know most managers are culpable of this, but to say they were denied a clear penalty, then to say Liverpools was a gift... well come on! They were both practically the same!
Feel sorry for Wenger... but he doesnt help himself.

Wenger's not stupid. He'll buy in the summer (despite what people say...) and Arsenal will have more depth.
Bottom line, they'll win something next season.
This is my truth........ now tell me yours.

hes loath to buy big as he doesnt want to break the wage ceiling, hence buying promising players.
if he doesnt buy big & win champ league &/or premiership how safe will he be?

I think you will find gerrard didnt say liverpool we the best team over 2 legs out of respect to the way arsenal also played but its not to say liverpool dont deserve to go through. The team who scored the most goals went through. You say Adebeyour missed a sitter and how many chances they had, well if they missed sitters then do they deserve to go through? Then take Torres, to quote the song, he got the ball and scored again. Clinical, took his chance, you cant odds that. If you miss sitters then you are asking for trouble. And FYI Andy Gray HATES liverpool - FACT. So I wouldnt say commentators LOVE liverpool.
