"Diminutive left winger...". Can't we give him some performance enhancing drugs and play him next match?
All the best to him, hope he does more for us than Knill!
Apart from the wins when rico was unavailable what qualities has Alan Knill brought to our club?

Hard to say in just two thirds of a season. I'm not going to knock his 3 wins from 3 though.

Lets hope he does the biz otherwise his feet wont touch the ground. From Academy Coach to Caretaker Manager in less than a month, that's some achievement! :-P

I would think it's not an unpopular promotion though in the footballing world. More common than from physio anyway.
At the end of the day most promotions to management teams are ex professional players who have been involved at some capacity at clubs, Sellars has played over 500 games and has played in the top division so he has to have some qualities, just because he's been coaching U18's it doesn't make him any worse off that anyone else.
