Tactically inept.
Doesn't know a good player from a bad player.
Basically clueless.
He may as well go now because there is no way we are going up this season or next under his management.
If we scrape into the play-offs we will get hammered over 2 legs by one of the better sides currently in the top half.

As a football club, we have this nasty habit of promoting within! The last few examples show it doesnt work, and hopefully the new manager will be an outsider who does things his way, and not how Hubbard wants it doing!

I take it if we get into the play offs you won't be going then?

No Ernie i wont, some may think reaching the play offs is some form of achievement, i dont. Automatic promotion or nothing. These players are good enough to be top 3, in a poor and weak division, what they lack is leadership, on and off the pitch, and coaching on better tactics, and also coaching on how to defend set pieces better etc etc.

The buck stops with the Manager.
If he worked in industry he would be a laughing stock.

The question was to Ross etc it's a given you won't be going. Unless of course you and Ros are one of the same?
So whislt everyone accepts we are playing poorly in the main, even though you haven't seen us play for 5 years, you know it's a weak division, that we lack leadership, coaching and tactics are bad set pieces are poor etc. If Ricco get sthe boot you should apply, as if you know all that without seeing us how fkin good would you be if you actually saw the players?

I don't think you are in a position to even comment on anything CFC by your own admission you do not go and watch them.
I will not shout Rico out that is for the board and the board only and those of us that know the club inside out know thats not going to happen, not this season anyway.

Believe it or not, many managers don't have a basic strategy or game plan and manage like they played, with emotion, they pick a team on ability and not strategy, ability without organisation is a mistake, as you have all probally seen players who have ability but dont perform well in the teams.
Its normally due to the system not aimed at maximising thier strenghts, they are always chasing the game and sometimes look like a fish out of water, but have ability.
The plan is to get the system to suit all the players, not to get the players to fit the system, this is where most managers go wrong, they play a system they played as a player then try to get thier players to adopt it, this takes longer and it mostly fails. "Square peg through a round hole" it wont fit so dont try it.

I still don't understand the logic in playing an out-of-form and low in confidence centre half at right back when we have two perfectly decent right backs, one in midfield and one on the bench. I've no problems with trying something new but if it isn't working, for God's sake change it. Jamie Ward down the left flank did not work yesterday - what did Rico do about it? Nothing. After 30 mins it was clear that Jamie was struggling there and leaving Gregor exposed frequently against 2 players. Something should have been done by that time to change this.

Things need to improve, however, Rico could still take us up which would result in a succesful season. The loan window is a very important time for him, he needs 2/3 decent players to make and not break the season.

Where does this keep coming from? Hubbard has said we are "going for it" and as others have said we must be top 5 in terms of resources in this league.
I'm totally sick of people making excuses for poor management.

It was poor management that saw Rico get the job in the first place, so I agree also.
I still think about that guy who went mental on Radio Sheff after the announcement. What were the board thinking in making such a devisive decision in terms of board versus the fans?

We are still in the play-off positions, we have a midfielder who can play defence spilitting and game winning passes, we have a 25+ goal striker. We still have a chance of going up = Rico's doing Ok.
