Yep, no big deal. I was just surprised that he wasn't used at MFC.
Nobody disputes he's signed but he can't play if international clearance hasn't been finalised and I thought Phil T implied a delay. I might be wrong. It was in real time.
I also thought he said that Larne and Den Haag had ownership connections. Nowt wrong with that either but imo worth a mention.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on

When I was a lad I was walking down Whitt Moor somewhere with some mates and a bloke pulled up in a car and asked for directions to St Aveley.

Twinned with St. Antonhill, just over the border.

To be fair Tim he has been Nitts best player by a country mile and 17 goals and he missed the run in thru injury too and both my County season ticket holders at work are gutted he has gone as they only offered him 2k to re sign

How people wouldn’t want McGoldrick is beyond me. A 1 year deal for a player of proven class that will only improve our chances of reaching League 1. It’s not like we’re going to go and offer him a 3 year deal or anything daft, it’s short term which shows our aspirations for this season. The meltdown in Nottingham would be the cherry on top as well.

If we didn’t sign him, he’ll only end up going elsewhere possibly to a promotion rival of ours and that’s not exactly going to benefit us is it.

So we should sign him, just so MK or other potential rivals don't, ... not really a good basis for making a signing, he missed plenty of games last season, and yes although he has quality l, it doesn't mean hes a good fit, .. look at Madden for instance...
all we are saying, is give us ...a goal, or 2+

I think that Madden was injury cover, he hasn’t had a great deal of involvement especially as a starter.

He played 35 league games and scored 17 goals. Madden played 27 and got 5.

Their seasons last year are not really comparable.

It's very clear that we're not signing him JUST so our rivals don't. He's a fantastic footballer and if we get 30-35 league games out of him next season, I reckon our promotion chances improve significantly.

indeed, he was available for more games than many of our squad last season, including the younger members of our squad.

I would put money on the majority of McGoldricks games being starts and Madden's being coming on as a sub too.

So based on those figures....
Madden averaged a goal every 194.4 minutes
Mcgoldrick averaged a goal every 150.3 minutes
Here we go again!
