Do you think we allowed him to play for Matlock with a view to ensuring he got some minutes and to give us chance to watch him further?
Does anybody know owt much about him?

18 year old, was previously attached to Carlisle and Sheffield United.
Carlisle said of him when he moved up there a couple of years ago:
James Murray - midfielder
James has accepted a scholar for next season having been recruited from Sheffield United Football Club. James has impressed with his high energy approach to training and matches. He wins possession back for his team well by breaking up play and has the ability to break down the opposition through positive runs and passes combining with his teammates. James is a composed player on the ball but also has an edge to his game which enables him to be brave both on and off the ball impacting matches positively. James has featured in some Youth team games so far since signing and we look forward to see how he develops further and progresses as a player.

It's not the end of the world we all know that, but come on. The quality of player we have we should be beating a team 4 leagues below us..

A massive thank you to Matlock Town FC and Chesterfield FC supporters for their generous donations, we have raised another £943.91 for our reflection garden. Thanks to the staff members and their families who gave up their time to shake the tins (some of us pictured below).
If you still wish to donate link to our online page here: https://gofund.me/6b3f4ee4

Absolutely FUMING! Matlock Town FC, You Call This Professional?!
We are beyond disgusted with Matlock Town FC! After catering for their game on Saturday, receiving glowing feedback from the club and even the owner, we've just been told today they're taking their catering in-house. That's fine, whatever, but the way they've handled this is an absolute disgrace. They've strung us along, completely leading us up the garden path, and frankly, we feel utterly used because they clearly had nothing in place for Saturday.
Let us tell you what we were actually working with on Saturday: We operated out of two tea rooms that were FILTHY. We're talking mouldy chips in the air fryers from god-knows-when, and an ant infestation in one of the bain-maries! The electrics were constantly tripping, and the equipment was some of the most outdated junk we've ever come across.
Despite these horrendous conditions, we still managed to serve non-stop for four hours straight! We genuinely believe we did a tremendous job given the circumstances, and to be treated like this after all our effort is an absolute slap in the face. We feel massively let down.
We were warned about dealing with this club, and it turns out that was some damn good advice. Consider this our official statement: Spud Heaven will NEVER have any association with Matlock Town FC again. To anyone who does decide to work with them, we wish you the best of luck – you're going to need it!

I can't see that on Spud Heaven Clay Cross's facebook page.
