Not ideal this, missing a full pre season, wouldn't be surprised to see him go out on loan for a month when hes back.

Could only do a months loan if he went to the national league on loan plus to be available after that month we’d have to name him in the squad or leave a gap to be named when he came back.

I was told 4 going out yesterday over the garden hedge. Hobson, Madden, grimes, and I think colclough were the names told but it was one of those "friend of a friend" things so take it with how ever much salt you want. One or two of those have popped up on here already I know.

I don’t mind it if it’s at the same time as Madden leaving but it’s not exactly along the recruitment strategy of lowering the age and brining some energy to the team

I'm not that keen either. Good player, but he'll be 38 this year and has to be managed due to injuries/age.

Seems a bit of an expensive luxury if we do get him.
