Well yeah for anyone to suggest hardly any of the 500 getting community trust freebies ever return is daft

But we give almost 1,000 Tickets away free each game to reach those totals (Or so they say)

Only we actually don't 'give' any away at all.

Dont the trust buy them from the club although heavily discounted, they are not free to the trust. The trust then sell them on cheap as part of school, club deals etc.

I do believe they are gifted to the trust.

I have been given free tickets when partaking on their programs. They give many to drug rehabilitation groups and mental health organisations. I'm not saying that they all get used but I do believe they get 500. Maybe Pete W can correct me? I think the kids deals etc are a bit different as we don't do a first come first serve thing. Again I may be wrong.

I do feel a bit unclean having clicked on their message board but it did give me a laugh. ‘It’s their cup final’ and I suggest some of them look at their ground, their owner, their team, their town and then look at the definition of tinpot. What a deluded set of tosspots

Personally, I can't wait until they're on telly again, to see if that digger under the Bishop Street shed has moved since the last time, and the time before that.
It's nice to be able to Trust again.

Huge numbers of people that have tried out the match-day experience via the Community Trust initiatives have become regulars

Our last season average is virtually double what our first game at the new stadium attracted

The Trust offers have played a major part in increasing our fan base to a level most of us thought we'd never see

If we keep on doing well and the offers continue - fitting everyone in will be the problem

Well said, Howard.

Then there's the unheralded work done in the community raising the Club's profile.

Previous regimes failed to recognise or invest in the necessity of nurturing support.

Both the Trust and 'Blues Brothers' deserve enormous credit for doing so...

That little stand just makes me laugh every time I see it , it isn't even level and they are thinking off putting some hospitality boxes on it(more like cardboard boxes)!😂😂

Don’t start talking about another tier, I’ve noticed they’re just about to start clinging on to that as a last resort. What an absolutely belting view they have sitting in that upper tier as well.

No one knows

Only those thick enough to not pay attention don't know*

It's one block, 450 odd seats, it's usually £10 adult and £5/£1 a kid and it's a fantastic initiative aimed at getting kids and their parents who might not normally come to games to experience it.

It's exactly how I, and many others, got into going.

Stay in your lane/forecourt or whatever it is

It is a good initiative and one that was discussed, albeit briefly, at the AGM.

As well as making the club accessible to a number of groups, the ultimate aim is to covert those who have benefitted from discounted tickets into full paying supporters. I think what was obvious from the discussions at the AGM is that there is no obvious pathway within the Trust that encourages moving to full paying, or a system that monitors how many have become regular supporters. Certainly the question was asked of those board members with dual roles at the club / Trust and no one knew how many had become full paying, regular supporters.

It's fifteen years since we moved to the new stadium and like you, it pleases me no end that not only have our attendances recovered post Allen & Carson, they have grown to record levels.

We really have recovered very well from the Allen days, im sure we were down to 3/4k at home during the national league days under Sheridan / Pemberton etc. Quite amazing we are averaging 7-8k when even when challenging for the play offs in league one we were only around 6k? so something we’re doing must be right!

Almost ready to be populated but apparently a worldwide shortage of plastic seating is holding up the project now.
