county fans at work with me state he was on £6k a week last year, they made him an offer and he said no. Their view was they could get 2 decent players for the same wage. Id rather swerve on an aging player who is clearly being touted around for one last year. Not worth it.

For what it’s worth, I’m confident he’s signed for us. MK were never in the running due to location. He’s Notts based and doesn’t fancy the commute down the M1.

So based on that he’ll probably end up signing for MK 😂
