I heard he’d been in from the same place I’d heard that Markanday etc were all done ahead of them being confirmed. Been to have talks as didn’t want to go far from Nottingham but did have a decent offer from MK Dons as well at the time but we were very much an option for him.

If Mandy was to go, I think the main thing we'd miss is his versatility. He reminds me of Milner in that he can do a job anywhere, but if you replace that with experts in each position, I'm not sure we'd be worse off.

His versatility and his energy are unmatched in the squad. Great servant to the club though and will go down as a cult hero when he does depart.
