We’ve spoke to him. As have Mansfield, amongst others. The bit of X about it being a done deal is premature. Personally, I’d be surprised but stranger things have happened.

What Ash is saying sort of ties in with what i heard...he visited for a chat, had offers from elsewhere (MK Dons mentioned) but wasnt rushing into any decisions. He's Nottingham based and doesnt want to move that far away which you would think doesnt help and MK Dons push for him unless they just throw a big contract at him. He certainly fits Mansfields age profile!!

Fulham’s statement on Dibley-Dias in December:

“Matt Dibley-Dias has been recalled from his loan spell at Northampton Town.
“The midfielder joined the Cobblers in the summer and made three appearances but has returned to Motspur Park following a bout of injuries during the first half of the season.”

There does seem to be a pattern.

Hopefully the lad is more robust a season later.
