With the mess the Wendies are in, I wonder if we're sniffing around any of theirs?

I don’t understand why everyone is mocking. There is clearly a reason behind Colclough, Madden, Donacien and the trialists not having squad numbers.

They’re not currently in the plans for next season.

Why would Donacien be there if that was the case? He's not under contact unlike the other two.

Working to prove his fitness. Essentially a trialist.

Why would he be a trialist when the retained list had him listed alongside Fleck, Fadz, Boot, Banks etc as being currently negotiating new contracts.

In fairness we’ve never announced anywhere he’s signed whereas we have the others and/or they’ve left.

It wouldn’t surprise me if we’re allowing him to stay and “prove it” but also won’t stand in his way if an offer comes from elsewhere.

I wonder if some of the trialists/offerees (is that even a word?) will be invited on the Malaga trip?

Makes it easier to get an Xi v Xi in training a x wouldn’t be the first time we’ve taken players on pre season training camps who then haven’t signed for us.

I would imagine the players “in negotiation” are keeping their options open for better deals elsewhere. Can’t blame them to be honest.

Unlike the players named above, his position has yet to be confirmed by the club.

A fair conclusion by Sewey, I'd say.

Colclough is in the video online but again, no shirt number from what I can see.

Feels like an Asante moment for those three. Probably available for transfer but opportunity to change cookies mind.

If you want more smoke to the paddy fire. I’m at the gym now and the injured lads are here: madden, Williams and Mandy.

The latter two have numbers. Paddy does not.

I wonder how the club intend on managing Ty's situation?

He's a player who has never let us down and like Grimesy, he ignores the noise and just gets on with it. I would love to see him back playing for us, but unless things have improved significantly, I'm told that returning to football is not a realistic option.

With our support, let's hope he can defy the odds.

I would be surprised if squad numbers would have been issued at the moment, more likely not until all transfers concluded

Is it not normal for squad numbers to be announced by the Club just before the start of any season

I said not currently in the plans. If he proves he can overcome his fitness issues, that could change.

Give me another explanation as to why certain players wouldn’t have squad numbers and, in Coco’s case, why his number has been assigned elsewhere.
