After the draw yesterday, my PT jokingly said he was going to wear his Stags shirt for our training sesh this morning. I've just walked in and ..... he's only gone and done it 😮

Good job I popped my Town shirt in my bag. Just in case, like ⚽💙🤣

And here we are. Let battle commence

I've been training with him for over ten years; he's a keeper. Apart from being a Staggie, he's absolutely fab

Dirty people ... surprised you let him anywhere near you in that rag that he's wearing.
Quick, go and de-louse

Two things - Stevie you have the same shirt as me, it’s a decent one too.

Secondly, I purchased a Triumph Herald last week and seemingly mistakenly insured it with One Call. So I’m effectively putting money into Mansfield’s coffers. I’d better take a look at that, quick.

Not just the shirt sponsor. Radford owns One Call doesn’t he? Based near Donny ground.

Ayup, Stevie

Good to finally put a face to a name.

We spoke several times back in SIFA days.

How y'doin'.

Either way please pass on our collective congratulations to your Staglet mate.

Obviously there's no way we can possibly hope to compete with his outfit as we only won the NL in record time as it was so weak, unlike the mighty foes against whom they were forced to utilize rugby-esque tactics to eventually claw their way out that division, and we only reached last season's play offs 'cos L2 was, apparently, similarly substandard.

Unlike the season they finally, after decades of trying, managed to scrape into third place.

Yeah, what would the CFC with no less than four fourth tier titles to their name know about promotion from that level.

On the other hand just think how humiliating it'd be if we somehow, against all the odds, actually won?

Hope his sessions address mental challenges as well as physical ones...

Funnily enough, and to show that he's a good guy really, it was a birthday present earlier this year from Chris (in the picture with me) 💙⚽

Funny you mention the week league thing as a scab I see intermittently through work has already told me l2 looks week this season 🙄.
Conveniently forgetting that the 2 real big hitters got promoted out l1 last season.

It's like a mental illness they have. Every division is weak unless they're in it.

Keep the Herald, a reliable classic, but helping out scabs in any way 😳.

Ayup Mr Earl,

I'm getting a bit teary eyed over the nostalgia; I loved the SIFA days 😍 I'll doubtless remember you if I could also put a face to the name ...... 🙏

I actually fully expect us to beat them. And would it really be against the odds? *Tootles off to check her betting site*.

If you see me around, please do stop and say hi 😚 I'd like to be able to put faces to some of the characters on here 😍

Have a good weekend. England Under 21s going well thus far ⚽

Actually, perhaps one for our older supporters - who are our main rivals?

AI says (obviously) Mansfield but adds Derby. I didn’t think there was much of a rivalry, if any, against Derby.

Mansfield aside, I thought our rivals were Rotherham, Barnsley, Doncaster and maybe Port Vale.

Discuss / happy to stand corrected.
