I agree with all of that, a non league player picked up by an EFL club who obviously taking a gamble which is what Barnsley do. Soon found out he wasn’t going to make the squad and loaned him out.
Sour grape Spireites sounding off again, if he had stayed who knows what it would have meant.

No sour grapes here. He was a very good NL player who is unable to be anything more than average in the EFL

I'd prefer looking at Macuaulay Langstaff than Dallas

Suspect thats a whole different market financially however! He only scored 1 goal in the whole of last season as an aside.

Agreed, Dallas and the aforementioned Cheek would have been good signings for us in the NL. Personally think we’re in a different place as a club than we were 2 years ago, we’re looking for players who can play L1/L2
If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything.

He scored on his Barnsley debut, then wasn't deemed good enough. Then he's played for absolute guff.

Styles suit players and i'm not by any chance saying we HAVE to sign Dallas. But it's one thing looking good for Town. It's another thing looking good for Morecambe and Barrow.

I would be shocked and disappointed if we signed Dallas (although I think its highly unlikely). He was a decent enough NL player but didn't make the grade when he stepped up.

Me too, but I do think he's very capable of playing up to league one standard. If I was his manager I'd be so frustrated with him, because he seems to stroll through games as though it doesn't matter, when we all know he can play. Would he have been the same if he'd come to us, I don't know, but I do know Cook wouldn't stand for him giving less than 100% in training or on the pitch.
He can stay where he is for me.

I get where you're coming from but for me, he is no where near L1 standard as his form since leaving us when we were a NL side shows, he's hardly played a game and has been pushed around on loan to a few clubs. He's had ample opportunity to prove himself but has failed miserably. He had a purple patch with us, developed a Bobby big bollocks attitude and has shown he isn't all he's cracked up to be. We can do better, much better.

Some twitter account with no followers posts absolute rubbish and it spreads like wildfire.

Zero chance Dallas signs after the debacle last summer

What happened last summer?

The 25 page saga was two years ago.
