Hopefully as good as Tommy Lee. Last proper quality keeper we’ve had.

That’s why having a goalkeeper who is a fully established part of the team is absolutely crucial. We’ve spent a significant amount to bring him in, which hopefully reflects a real investment in quality and long-term stability between the posts.
That’s no detriment on Boot, he’s a steady, dependable option, and clearly values his role at the club, otherwise he wouldn’t have signed on again.
This is a great addition by Paul Cook, and particularly by the Kirks, who continue to back the club, invest wisely, and build something special here

Maybe we'll see some under 21s come in aswell to pad the squad out.
We've got a lot of players who will be 34+ by the time September comes around (naylor grigg fleck grimes madden(if he's still here) and mcfadz. These will be managed ala jack Lester in his last season.

For perspective, in 1998, how much did we pay for Jason Lee, £250k?

Their loss....
I don't remember seeing anything, but then I never looked. He was always involved, though it became fewer starts over time so the manager rated him, just not as much as other options.
Sounds like Hemming made a few early balls ups and never recovered from it.

As has been mentioned, they barely rated Markanday,so I will wait to make my own mind up about him,and it won't be over one game like some on here tend to do.
Whatever he turns out to be let's just say the Blues Brothers are putting their money where PC wants it put,and with the way they are backing the #Bloated Back Room Staff could see them being club legends in the future.IMO.

What? Jack was nearly 38 when he started his last season. Only Kyle is anywhere near that, and none are centre forwards.
