I think that we'll move on from Michael O and Colclough (if we can offload). If we are going to progress then i think these kind of players would be nothing more that squad fillers.

Was going to say I think they'll look to offload a couple before any more announcements. My Guess is they're looking to move Paddy on, bit of an O'Grady vibe signing really, although to be fair he's at least looked okay and has scored a bit

For those that mentioned McGoldrick earlier and I mentioned we’ve tentatively reached out, he’s told everyone interested he isn’t talking to anyone until the end of June / start of July.

Yep. We still need a flying winger for the squad for when Plan B has to be deployed. Lot's of fight and skill in the attack but no real pace amongst whoever makes up the '3' and the '1'. Except perhaps Colclough, who can turn on the afterburner if he's in the mood. Don't know what's happened to Michael O, but I'd have him back on loan.

I can see the majority of the U21 dont count towards squad numbers players being the loans like last season. Positions like a different option wide, cover up front alongside Elliott and those sorts of players in fact very much like the areas we had them last season. I know plenty didnt rate Michael O but he played a big part in the run in to make the playoffs last season and it was a shame he didnt really perform in the first leg of the semi final.

Striker wise i wonder if we will rekindle interest in Dajaune Brown at Derby who was apparently the option to replace Quigley when we let him go but it fell through as Derby didnt get anyone in so kept him Brown. He didnt feature for derby after the 21st Jan last season and only made 18 appearances in total you wonder depending on their transfer business if they will look to loan him out this season.

2 goals and 2 assists for him last season in 1223 mins of football for, for what its worth Dobra had 2 assists in triple the amount of playing time although he had a few more goals likely because he was central a lot of the time so in more positions to score. Duffy also had 2 goals and 2 assists in a similar amount of time on the pitch.

Details of stats for the squad here currently ordered by assists :-

I'd love to see Paddy Madden playing at his best for us, but as you rightly say, injury didn't help one bit. We have two decent strikers for this level, but again our horrendous injury list dominated our season. I'd be happy to see Bim Pepple back for the coming season learning off Grigg and Madden.

Probably not over injury concerns, wouldn't be surprised if he retired

If he doesn't sign, are we going into the season with Sheckleford and Campbell 🤔 I wouldn't think so. I hope he's fit, and signs, because he's a quality full back, who can play across the defensive line.
