Gave his all every game. Sad to see him retire, but he's probably right to go now and concentrate on his life in coaching. My favourite player, just a pity he couldn't have seen his last season out on the pitch. Cheers Mike and good luck going forward.

Superb engine room player and part of the “legends” who got us back into the EFL….

It feels like we have had some very decent blokes in our squad in the last 3 seasons, and Mike is definitely in that category. Huge impact in the promotion season. Thanks chap.

Proper footballer. When we switched to 4-1-4-1 in the NL season with MJ in CM - we were incredible.
