Everyone - take a step back.

No news is good news.

Crikey, it's like waiting for Santa on 1 December.

Be patient folks. It'll come good.

Don't christmas early bird chocolate treats start in July? Disgusting but true

Interesting that Boot has not signed yet. He probably realises now that he will be No.2 same as when Tyrer was here.

There is no issue spending money on a keeper but As far as I can find, and I stand to be corrected, only two times ever has a League Two club paid £150k or more for a keeper. Both by Peterborough for Shwan Jalal and Joe Lewis. I’d be absolutely astonished if as a league two club we are dropping anywhere near £150k on a keeper.

£150k is probably the absolute final figure. I’d hazard a guess it’ll be an upfront figure paid over 2/3 years with the rest in add ons.

Fair. Hopefully £10k now, £140k when we reach the championship.

Anyone heard the rumour of Harvey Araujo coming back on loan? A Fulham supporter, who I used to work with, mentioned it.

If he spends this summer bulking up he’d be a very good option. Good future ahead of him

I agree, there's a good centre back in there.

I wouldn't blame Boot going if that's the case.
Shown what a decent keeper he his.
He'll get a number one spot easy enough else where

I think he's a bit like a quicker Loz Maguire. Not a left sided CH, not a left back but a good left sided centre half in a 3.

Me neither. I always go back to that game at Donny away. Him and Dunkley were a pairing and I remember coming away from that game thinking he was a special player. Unfortunately that combination was rarely (if ever?) used again.

Needs to bulk up significantly. Just think Morecambe away. He couldn't handle it hooked off at half time.
