The football from the women this week was just as bad, dont think that either side will be winning a trophy anytime soon.

Maybe. Maybe not. But, just to speak up for England Women, they have actually won a major trophy in my lifetime

Anyway, me and sis are off to Switzerland in July to take in a couple of the group games. We're taking our giant Chesterfield FC England flag with us. Be sure to tune in, support the women and do look out for us on the box. Let's see if we can retain the title ad bring it home.

COME ON ENGLAND!

Portugal would whip England from yesterday's showing let alone Spain.
I'd dred to think what Spain would do to us!
I was hopeful when Tuchel got the gig but jaw dropped when he had Henderson in the squad let alone playing.
Agent Tuchel? 😁

Belgium Wales, what a game…Belgium 3-0 up, could have been 5/6, 3-3 now.
East stand second class citizen.

Absolute farce with VAR. Belgium 4th goal disallowed but it took VAR over four minutes. A joke despite the decision probably being correct. Belgium now make it 4-3 without much doubt.

Wales tactic of leaving one of the greatest players of his generation unmarked at the back post is questionable.

Poor decisom for the corner a few seconds before thought, definite goal kick.

Yep. Not an easy one for the officials to see though to be fair.

1-0 against the team ranked 173rd! Is there still anyone who thinks Tuchel will actually coach England to WIN the World Cup? I'm not going just on that feeble performance, and I made my point before Tuchel took over. Nothing I've seen since he arrived even begins to suggest that Tuchel will get anywhere near Southgate's achievements. No country, including England, is entitled to win the World Cup, but Gareth Southgate had the best go at it since 1966, and I'm afraid it's blindingly obvious that Tuchel will fall short of that level of achievement.

Now you really do surprise me, Friendly, end of season, nothing riding on it.
God I hate this league.

It was clearly out from first view from one angle. God knows what they were fannying about at.

If ya not interested.. why bother telling everyone...

Much better performance so far - albeit a very different opponent.

I’d go for a knock out preliminary thing - let those sides who are never ever gonna qualify have a knock out stage or two or a group or two of their own and the winners then join the proper qualifier games - think non league, leagues 1+2 and then the third round of the F.A. Cup.

Small teams have something to play for, the qualifiers have far less meaningful games.
A new hope.
