With Dunkley, McFadzean and Grimesy under contract for next season and terms have been offered to Ash Palmer, how do you envisage the central defensive pairing playing out, especially as we desperately need to introduce some pace into the position?

We aren't going to have any unless we sign a youngster on loan to add competition.

I'm shocked that we have quite a few fans who don't want him back. Another year with Cook and he'd improve considerably.

Pepple scored 5 for CFC and 11 for Sarf.
I still think Paul Cook would bring out the best from him.

Absolutely. I thought it would be 2 but 3 is great for him. Good luck to him.

Good luck Ollie, you've been like a league two Glenn Hoddle for me. I hope you get promoted in your first season with your new club. Thanks for some great memories and some equally great goals.

A three year contract is excellent for him, York is a no brainer. Really pleased for the lad.

He might have gone to the York v Oldham game reasonably expecting to be playing in L2 for them next season. They didn't make it but 3 years with a decent club is a top deal for him even if it's back in the National league.

I don't travel to away matches these days because of medical reasons, but it sounds a good idea for those who put the mileage in supporting the club.

I'm a bit on the fence with it. If you are not careful you can create a bit of a closed shop where the same folk who had the points to start with sell any allocations out and its impossible to break into it if you get to a position where you can go to away games. I think someone once suggested a setup a bit like England do where so many are held back for the top points holders then others are made available to a ballot to allow people the chance to build up a points record.

In reality the vast majority of the time there are plenty to go round anyway so folk will likely get a chance to build up some sort of buying history.

No expert, but presumably one fundamental is that CFC will have to take over admin and distribution of tickets for all away matches. I might be wrong but I thought I'd read (on here) that some clubs like to retain control and won't send 'em to CFC. Eg Matlock.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on

I don't know how it will work, 6 of us travel to every game and one person books the tickets with our ST, how will the other 5 gain points? There are other groups who you meet all over the country and they probably do the same as us.

Yes we would need some visibility of tickets being bought so either we sell them or if the home club are on the ticketmaster system as well can they talk to each other so town fans logins work and they go against that login.
