How many times did that happen last season when we put the opposition in?
Good recovery eventually but we have to bowl better in their second innings or hope for rain tomorrow lol

There aren't many demons in the wicket, the outfield is amazingly quick for April and there is a pretty short boundary. I think a bit of scoreboard pressure played a part when we batted. They could add pretty quickly today if we're not careful. Morley should have a good bowl, take the pace off the ball.

Their skip wasn't very adventurous or did he show us to much respect, probably well deserved respect though, with our new opener.

It looks like we'll be on the top side of a draw against Middlesex and that's not a bad place to be in.

Wanting over 330 for victory derbyshire were making a good fist of it until the usual losing a cluster of wickets for virtually no runs and finished 30 runs short with one wicket remaining
Still unbeaten start to the season though

at roughly the half way point of the county championship who would have thought that we would be second in the table and that Leicestershire would be top lol
lets hope the momentum is carried forward into the T20 and 50 over part of the season

Muyeye got a shocker with that decision it has to be said. Pleased with how it's going this season, I'm a little surprised but in a good way. Good time to pause for the T20 stuff.

Yes a showcker but not as shocking as Sue Redfern's in last night's women's T20.
