DJ had his head turned months ago. Although Swindon came out of left field. Stevenage was the original rumoured club.

As for Ollie, I don’t think he wanted to leave. The financial package put together by York, with the contract length was just too good to turn down with it being probably his last professional contract. It’s common knowledge the lads who’ve been offered extensions here are reduced terms. York offered him a rate wedge last season too until CFC triggered the extension for this season. I had a hunch that CFC triggered the extension thinking York would still want him and pay a fee but alas that never happened.
