Cringe Lynn. What have you done!

This is what I hate about football. It’s so shallow. Why would you want anyone like James Rowe at your club.

KLT were reckoned to be of the few clubs that would have taken him, largely because of their owner - odd that he should reportedly be stepping down in favour of some Thai company and the Supporters Trust.
It's nice to be able to Trust again.

Hopefully, he's learned a few lessons over the last couple of years. Can a leopard change his spots though?

Usually, it is the player that screw up careers by personal decisions. Managers far less likely.

In this case, he'll never get a proper league job again. He's doomed to NL, NLN, NLS.

Be interesting to see if he adopts such a 'hands on' attitude in future...

You’re basing that on what?

For sure he’ll want to spend money.

rowe is the past, now what would be interesting for me is to see if cook can exceed John Duncan, been trying to find the stats and best i can find, is that cook is still around 180 games behind duncs in terms of leading us out, both have 2 promotions with us, i feel confident cook will acheive a 3rd promotion with us, could he make it a 3rd title?

Rowe is definitely in the past but it was he that started our revival under the Trust.

Unfortunately for him, it was he that brought about his downfall too.

Cook came back and the rest is history. Like John Duncan he has been brilliant for our club. Like John Duncan he stubbornly sticks to his way of playing. Both have given us some fond memories. Let’s hope Cookie can deliver us some more. I remain quite confident because with the Kirks we have probably got the best owners we, and either manager, has had at our club.

agree with that, don't know if you've ever read the history of cfc, i read it some years ago and form day one it seems the club has always been on the edge yet survived and at times enjoyed periods of success, never though it seems has the club been in a better state than it is now, it feels like we are building something very special here, recall in the dark days a few short years ago people continually asking the question if we had bottomed out yet, almost anticipating our fall was still ongoing, now it feels like the reverse of that, we are on an incline and it feels to me like we've only just begun.

He's a winner at that level. Presumably that's why they want him.

On a serious note, he could have been something, that fella. Sadly (for him, not us), I'd say there was about as much chance of him not lasting the season as there is of him getting promotion. Flawed is putting it politely.

It’s definitely worth putting a few quid on , he’ll no doubt get them up there and I believe cook will deliver it for us.

Hope they’ve plenty of money but on the other hand it is a first step back on the management ladder after his debacle.
