Banks to York on a 2 year deal was floating about WhatsApp last night after a few of the names who are leaving got mentioned.

Must say I was worried about us keeping too many on and not having enough room in the 22 man squad to improve, but looking at things this morning I’m not as arsed as I still think there’ll be several spaces left.

Hmmm. Imo Ash Palmer would be the key signing for any NL side. There's very few better at that standard now he's on a new lease of life.

I'm also a big fan of Akinyemi. Terrific pace and power and a 1 in 3 scoring stat that he can improve on. It will be interesting to see where he ends up if his injury has cleared up.

Not sure when it’ll be released but it wouldn’t surprise me if it’s today. The 5/6 names leaving won’t surprise people. And just because players have been offered deals doesn’t mean they will sign them. Most have been offered reduced terms.

We are very keen on a No9 from Alty.

Shades of 2022 when Kellerman, McCourt and Denton were all offered new deals on reduced terms? All of them left

28 but out of contract would seem like a pretty simple deal to get done. Great season last year too!

He’s got another year left, and plenty of interest elsewhere. Good player and would suit our system but won’t come cheap

Might be wrong but I think he scored a goal past us at home when we went up but it was ruled offside when it probably wasn't. We won 2-1 with that berry goal late on.

Edit: someone on the alti forum saying Grimsby in for 150k. I also read they were after amaluzor from there too.
