Most disappointing performance I’ve seen in quite a long time. We made a side that was bang out of form and there for the taking pick up an easy win.

Can’t see anyway back at there place. Damage was done by ourselves.

Big clear out and go to win the league next season.

Really disappointing but it’s far from over. They scored from their only real chances. We didn’t take the ones we did make. Naylor, Pepple and perhaps Palmer should score their headers. We have to be on the front foot from the off on Friday. I’d rather lose 4:3 going for it than another 2:0. Sparkes should play as should Dobra of he’s fit enough.

Credit to Walsall. It isn’t pretty but the did a job and got the result.

Poor performance against a workmanlike and tough to break down team. Never nice playing against teams like that but you have to spread them wide and move the ball at pace to get in behind them, which we didn’t do at all. We were far too pedestrian and made it easy for them to defend. Very disappointing but if we get an early goal against them in the 2nd leg, we have a chance as they can definitely be got at.

There is no positives. I’ve seen us lose to some proper quality sides over the years, Preston, Bristol City, Fulham, Charlton, but make no mistake about it we gifted these probably the easiest win they will ever pick up.
