He's definitely got mobility issues, I agree. And dare I say it, possibly a calorific one, too! But he has vision, that man. Bit like when I saw the 40-something year old Chris Waddle turn out for Hallam, once, but about 8 stone lighter 😄

For one or two on here, we're dogshit unless we are three up. It's unattractive, sure, but Walsall are doing what they do well.

The simple way to stop this unless they have broken a bone or dieing, you go off for the pitch for treatment like in the old days, it wont happen though as the powers that be would have to summon up 2 brain cells between them, so unlikely to be done.

Gordon isn't direct enough

Credit to Walsall. It was obvious from five mins in, how they were setting up. Not enough press in midfield from us, nor enough pace up top. Every time we push wide, it ends up going backwards, because there's nobody bursting a gut to get into a decent position in the number 10 slot. Midfield, pedestrian, when we need the most energy to break down teams who sit with two close lines like Walsall.

Rhs dreadful, so we're reliant on Colclough on the left. Diving into tackles like kids on a park. Mandy with two shocking episodes, and it doesn't matter that he's not a RB, that's a poor excuse - the basics weren't being done.

I wouldn't be surprised if they get a third.

I think we've done great to get into the playoffs, but there's no coming back from this.
