Oh absolutely, he was hiding. Although I suspect that the lovely Radders was a bit of a lad in his day. I know him well; I'll quiz him on the trip to Walsall (tickets permitting) 🙏
Anyway, it appears that Warfey and Radders have touched base now, so all is well.

I was on the majority of those trips and involved in a few err incidents mentioned in the book particularly the one involving Leicester on the M1 services..

I went on quite a few of Dave Wynns tours in 1974. He was in my year at school although I didn’t know him well and I left that year. Didn’t know Radford at all back then, but got to know him many years later.
From what I recall Wynns tours ended (at least for me) when a number of the passengers were arrested for nicking tapes at a service station on the way to Rochdale. The police were outside the coach asking who’s in charge. ‘I am’ Wynny said confidently as he came down the coach steps.
Then they nicked him. We never made it to Rochdale.

Talking of tours anyone remember the driver of the US Friday night to Oxford well it was me? Or the one to Burnley 0-0 that was me lol
