He'd give us heart attacks with his messing around on the ball. I think he's got calamities in him and would avoid.

Can’t see Cook being keen on signing a player that turned us down last summer, like Dallas boat has sailed on that one.

We'd still got most of our eggs in the "Tyrer" basket though so I can't imagine we offered him any kind of 'decent' deal (in fact it wouldn't surprise me if we only offered him a short term deal as the season was imminent IIRC and we'd only got Boot and Rinaldo on the books), and remember he turned down what we'd offered for effectively nothing, as he didn't sign for anyone until he joined Shrews in December.

Thank Christ you have nowt to do with recruitment..

I would love to see Tyrer back permanently, and also Markandy, Aurajo, Metcalfe and Sparkes. I would also like to have Tanton and Pepple back on loan (if fit).

Then an additional half a dozen other quality signings!!!!! Would be nice...

Boot is every bit as good as tyrer, but we need better than both...

Agree with the outfield players tho.

Been impressed with Boot TBH. His game with the ball at his feet has come on leaps and bounds.

As a shot stopper he’s more than adequate in L2. As a sweeper keeper he’s the best in L2.

If we go up I’d be happy to give him a year as No2. If in L2 I’d be happy for him to be No2

Let’s be honest the goal keeper position isn’t one that’s a priority to be addressed

CB and CM.
A new hope.

CB and CM are priority, boot is good enough in L2 as No1 if what is in front of him is also top draw

A few early bits coming through. Don’t be too surprised to see Markandy return. The stuff about him not wanting to relocate is nonsense. Also the Fleetwood captain who Ollie had his sending off towards.

Best to wait until after the play offs when, as we all know, reputations can be ruined or forged.

Walton, bless him, has documented on here his adoration of Boot, then his change of mind. And now, Boot is God again. I expect Walton is having a long lie down whilst trying to work out how much of a fool he's made of himself.

Some big clubs wanted wiredu in January I remember reading. Getting markandy back would be brilliant.

We're in safe hands regardless of what happens in the playoffs I think
Here we go again!

Wiredu's still under contract, won their POTS so would surely command quite a fee?

He’d be well out of our reach if figures banded around last Jan are true. Rumoured that Wigan offered 500k

The qualities of Duffy as left back are questionable. I've seen him cover there once and he was poor.

He was terrible, got square on every time so winger just went past him for fun
