We see it all over the media, all over social media, and indeed all over these threads by the usual suspects. From the sly, to the blatantly obvious, the digs, sneers and smears at Reform voters being easily led, thick, zealots, moronic, bigoted, far right, racist idiots who haven’t got a brain cell between them.
Then you look at the areas where Reform have got huge numbers of votes, areas like Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, the North East and Runcorn in the North West, and you come to realise that these smears will, in a round about way, actually be levelled at their friends, work colleagues, even other, maybe close, family members.
Thankfully the penny has dropped amongst millions of ordinary Brits, that those sneering and smearing those who vote Reform, just won’t see or can’t see or accept their concerns, the concerns of those very ordinary working class Brits they claim to stand alongside and champion, and they really don’t care anymore, they want to be heard, and at last they are being listened to.
That’s why Starmer and his lousy anti British government are falling so far and so fast, and his answer is to go harder and faster. Never, ever have the British public been so betrayed by a government they thought would protect them.

I’m deffo talking about family members when I call vast swathes of the electorate thick. Got some proper thick family members who will 100% have voted Reform, no qualms saying that.

Unless I'm not reading the results right, Kent County is now controlled by Reform. Reform's 'Boat' policy is to transport them straight back to France as soon as they land - Richard Tice said this on't telly last week.

If you turned them back in international waters and before they landed then no. It would not be illegal

Italy recently refused a ship that was picking up small boats in the med permission to enter port

I’m posting this as a very concerned resident of this village, I was born and raised in creswell and still live in it.
On Wednesday the 30th April one day before the election of councillors in the events centre. I had a phone call with SERCO who are a company employed by the Labour government to house immigrant / asylum seekers in the uk. SERCO were speaking to me as I’m a landlord of properties some within creswell. They are wanting private landlords to hand over their properties to them to house these people. The financial gain from passing my houses to SERCO to then house these people is absolutely mind blowing. I can honestly tell you all that although the incentives are unbelievable I will definitely not be letting this happen in my properties.
I write this as a warning, the labour government are implementing this scheme and that is why on the 1st may I voted for reform. I’m very sorry Christian but I feel that I had no option. Creswell is under threat as is surrounding villages/ towns and cities while ever labour are in power.
I’m very proud of my village and only want it to improve as we go forward into the future.

I went to a meeting last Saturday at the Community Centre in Whitwell. There is a growing concern from residents in both Whitwell and Hodthorpe about SERCO housing asylum seekers in their communities. The meeting was called because the asylum persons have been seen sitting in the children’s play areas and taking photos on their mobile phones of the girls.

Three members of the police and three members of the council were at the meeting. It was stated that no offences are being committed by the taking of photos, regardless of there being no explanation of the reason for taking the photos.

SERCO is a private company and have been tasked by the government to find accommodation for asylum seekers in any area. They are approaching hotels, HMOs and private landlords with very generous offers. The councils in the areas are not informed about any placements.

Tbf wouldn’t surprise me if it was true. I imagine they’re trying to get costs down, and even offering above the market rate for a rental property would be cheaper than a hotel room. Funny how the person writing it states that SERCO are employed by the Labour government like they went out and appointed them. SERCO been employed by the Government for years now.
