Rather than the oft quoted on here, ‘I’d be happy with a top half mid table finish’.
Thanks goodness for Cook, Webb, Roberts and the players. Who never gave up hope.
Just trying to find out whether we receive any extra cash simply for finishing in a play off place. I don't think we do, per se, but we obviously share the play off net incomes.

History tells us it's sides like that who excel...

Good form is absolutely essential for success in the play offs. Previous play off episodes for town certainly prove that.
Walsall won yesterday but that was first win in 13!
I'm glad we are at home for the first leg. We will be going into that game full of confidence with a booming crowd. Game on!

I don't disagree. Likewise Notts are more of an attacking threat so would probably be a more open game. Only 1 goal in 180 mins v Wimbledon backs that up.

I think we’d do much better v Wimbledon on Wembley bigger pitch, maybe have larger support as well, and as much as I’d prefer to rub County’s noses in it big time I’d be a bit more confident v Wimbledon.
But let’s get there first before we dissect opponents.

I'm sure Wimbledon would outnumber us. They ought to really. They had just over 20k at Wembley in 2016 v Plymouth.

Was just a lazy thought really, fair comment. But football wise I think I’d still rather face them than County.

Probably a few more, not least because there is a bigger gap between the 2nd leg and the final. In 2023 there were only a handful of working days, coaches were scarce and weren't there issues with trains as well?

Yeah there was train strikes. Seem to remember hearing county had booked loads of the local coach companies too as they finished their semifinal before we kicked off which left us having to book from futher afield and costing a fortune with no concession prices. True blue was about double price of County iirc
