I don't think I got to predict in time but I have always been in the camp that it's possible until it really isn't but happy to give a fiver to Ashgate and I will give you the money at Wembley ;)

7 points off play offs after 40 games. Who would have thought it?

Funny in't it.
Even if we'd been 7 points better off, we'd still have no better chance of promotion than we have now.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on

I really hope if we get past Walsall it's Wimbledon and not Notts. Much as I'd love to do them there I really can't face the alternative.

That’s got to give the squad a huge confidence boost as well.
A new hope.

Would be very hard to stomach history repeating itself, easier to take defeat against Wimbledon. But which team would be harder to beat?

Will work out who owes what and will post.

I don't think there's anything in it. We've taken 4 points off both of them.

Would have been 6 v Notts but for a dodgy penalty decision

We can beat Walsall over two legs. We can beat Notts or Wimbledon in a one off game. Equally, all three can also beat us. I honestly can’t call a winner from the playoffs. We perhaps have the benefit of momentum but I think form goes out of the window in these games. Whatever happens, it’s remarkable we made it.

The last few minutes today were the only time this season that we've had any good luck. How did we keep the ball out, the bar hit twice, once we cleared the ball out of the area, I jumped from my seat punching the air in delight. At that point I knew we had done it.. I didnt think we would get the luck to go through, how wrong I was. Well done blues especially Cook and his coaching team. The scenes at the end were amazing.

I’ve been up to Sunderland today with wide, daughter and father in law so was watching our game on the way back with radio 5 for updates as well. When Salford equalised I said to my wife we were done as I couldn’t see a way Carlisle wouldn’t concede again.

Brilliant effort by us to make the playoffs. First time we’ve been back in them since dropping out of them on Dec 29th apparently and on March 4th we were 13pts outside them.

I’m more than happy to eat my humble pie from my comments earlier on this thread.
I never saw this run in the last 12 games coming!

Massive credit where it’s due, though.

Today showed that if you aim for the stars and you might just reach the moon.

Rather than the oft quoted on here, ‘I’d be happy with a top half mid table finish’.

Thanks goodness for Cook, Webb, Roberts and the players. Who never gave up hope.

We will have more of our injured players back as well.

Form and fitness coming good at the right time

Wimbledon have a much better defence than county and we’d more likely struggle to hit the onion bay against them over Notts IMO
A new hope.
